Miles From Nowhere
Miles from
nowhere
I float on the
wind.
FLOW
The endless,
ceaseless,
WITH
wind.
YOUR
DREAMS
I float on a slow
current,
AND
trapped,
YOU
within a raging
torrent
WILL
of endlessly changing
wind...
SEE
that dreams of
freedom.
THEM
MEET
Miles from
nowhere
WILL
I float with a
river,
YOU
trapped within its
banks,
AND
twisting toward the
sea…
WIND
sharing its dream
of…
THE
freedom.
LIKE
FLY
That
wind
has blown
mountains…
to dust.
And this is the river
of the grandest canyon.
Their timeless strength
not mine.
Their enigmatic wisdom…
also
But…
their freedom
is so much like mine…
only a dream.
Miles from nowhere…
Somewhere,
the river spills into the sea.
I have only to float there
to find an island…
for me.
Miles from nowhere…
somewhere,
every kite must
land.
Somehow,
I have only to set my
sail
To go there.
And...
As the wind-borne sand falls,
too…
dreams will fall…
into the path of my life.
Miles from nowhere.
